NERS (NOLAN EMERGENCY RELEASE SYSTEM) - This system, whose patent is currently being granted, allows rescue personnel to remove the pillows' pads from the helmet while it is worn by the motorcyclist, simply by pulling on the red ribbons positioned in the front area of the pads themselves.
SIDE VISIBILITY - Compared to its predecessor (model X-802RR), X-803 has been improved in terms of side visibility. Consequently, it is able to offer greater driving comfort and increased active safety.
PINLOCK® RESISTANT INSIDE INSERT - The patented adjustment system allows the Pinlock® draft to be adjusted from the outside of the visor, without dismantling it. The silicone profile, adopted under Pinlock® license, allows, first of all, to increase the inter-air space between the exterior and the interior, thus further reducing the risk of fogging and, secondly, of reducing the risk of scratches to the visor.
DOUBLE ACTION - Device that allows the visor lock function (to prevent accidental opening at high speeds) or demisting of the visor at low speed or in the event of parking (through minimum opening of the visor).
HABITABILITY - Compared to its predecessor (model X-802RR), X-803 has been improved in terms of habitability in the chin area: the chin rest has been slightly lengthened, in order to offer greater static and dynamic comfort.
RACETRACK AERODYNAMIC SPOILER (RAS) - It is an aerodynamic appendix developed with the contribution of the official Nolan and X-lite pilots, as well as the results of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) studies and wind tunnel tests. The shape of its upper part reduces the aerodynamic resistance of the helmet and improves its stability at high speeds in a riding position under the hull, especially in continuity with the possible rear appendix present on the rider's suit; the conformation of its side parts improves the stability of the helmet at high speeds coming out of the front fairing. It can be removed from the helmet depending on the conditions of use and / or driving situations, for example in the presence of a passenger.
ADJUSTABLE STABILITY DEVICE (ASD) - If the RAS is removed from the helmet, the upper and side fins, available in the box, must be fitted in its place. These constitute the ASD (Adjustable Stability Device), or an aerodynamic spoiler with an adjustable profile. The ASD optimizes the aerodynamic behavior of the helmet during driving, stabilizing it at high speeds, and favors the extraction of hot air from inside the helmet itself. Its profile, therefore its aerodynamic range, can be adjusted in the two available configurations, to better adapt to different driving positions and styles.
COMFORT PADDING "CARBON FITTING RACING EXPERIENCE" WITH INNOVATIVE NETWORK CONSTRUCTION - The inner comfort padding is made with active carbon filaments, a thermoregulator, antistatic and dissipative element. The headset, with an innovative mesh construction, facilitates the diffusion of air in the upper part of the head which, in this way, remains cool and dry. The internal padding also consists of lateral cheek pads and covering strips, all completely removable and washable.
MONOBLOCK PILLOWS - The internal foam padding of the pillows is designed to offer uniformity of pressures and consistent performance over time compared to those offered by traditional padding. Furthermore, they can be extracted from the respective fabric covering covers to facilitate the washing of the latter.
LPC - LINER POSITIONING CONTROL (PATENT PENDING) - This system, whose patent is currently being granted, makes it possible to adjust the position of the cap which, for the same helmet size, allows the helmet to be changed over the head, adapting it to the different needs and anatomical conformations.
ROTATIONAL IMPACT TESTS - X-903 ULTRA CARBON has passed, in the Newton Srl laboratory, tests relating to rotational impacts to which competition helmets are used, among others, in MotoGP and SBK races. Newton Srl is an independent testing laboratory, recognized as suitable by the Italian Ministry of Transport for the approval of helmets and visors, in accordance with ECE / ONU 22-05.
NOSE - It is available in two versions: one, original equipment, gives the product a fine finish; the other, supplied (in the box), is clearly inspired by the rain masks used in racing and is therefore more suitable in order to limit fogging.
